Born in Wales, Rod Duncan now lives in Leicester with his wife and children. His novels Backlash, Breakbeat and Burnout follow a series of different characters through the same inner-city riot. Backlash was shortlisted for the John Creasey Memorial Dagger for the best debut crime novel of 2003.
