Vanessa Gebbie

Vanessa Gebbie teaches Creative Writing and is founder/editor of Tom’s Voice Magazine. She also runs an online workshop for aspiring literary writers, The Fiction Workhouse.
Her competitive successes include prizes for short fiction at Bridport, Fish (Ireland), Per Contra (USA) among many others.
Many of her prize-winning stories have been gathered together in her debut collection, Words from a Glass Bubble (Salt Publishing, March 2008). A second collection, Mood Swings, is forthcoming in 2009. Her novel-in-progress won a first prize at The Daily Telegraph in 2007. It is progressing.
