Matt McGee

Writer and speaker Matt McGee has been a U2 fan since hearing ‘I will Follow’ on a Philadelphia radio station in 1981. He was hooked for life when he heard ‘New Year’s Day’ in 1983 and went on to found @U2 (www.atu2.com) in 1995, now the longest established independent U2 fan website.
In 2003, Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame invited McGee to co-host a ‘U2 Fan Celebration’, an event which attracted fans from all over the world. He has been interviewed on U2-related topics by USA Today, the Dallas Morning News, Australia’s Triple-J radio and many others.
