Richard Davenport-Hines
Richard Davenport-Hines is the recipient of the Wolfson Prize for History and a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He is the author of several books including The Pursuit of Oblivion, a global history of narcotics, and a biography of W H Auden. He also writes for the New York Times, the TLS, and the Independent, among other publications. Richard Davenport-Hines lives in London.
